The Hanover Township Park District, located at 800 Fillmore St. (old Hanover High School), was formed and funded by a popular referendum in April 2003 after many years of organization and volunteer work. Among their first actions was to purchase the former Hanover School vacated that summer by the River Ridge School District.
In addition to ongoing programming, rooms are available for daily or long-term rental by the public. The Park District operates a Fitness Center that you can use during business hours or join on a monthly basis for unlimited access. Send questions and comments to email@example.com. Park District Classes & Programs
Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Bake Sale fundraiser. The Easter Egg Hunt is the Saturday before Easter, with the bake sale beginning at 9 am & the Egg Hunt at 11 am !
Party/Banquet rooms available for rent for any occassion.

Hanover Youth Soccer Program in the Spring. The Park District Commissioners are looking for someone to take over running the Youth Soccer Program. Anyone interested please contact the Park District at 815-591-3622.
The Hanover Park District now has “YARD SALE” signs available for use by any Hanover resident. The signs can be borrowed from the Park District and then must be returned afterwards.
